all.is.well.

i touched down at my hometown few days ago.
it was an indescribable feeling. it felt extremely good to be back.
the sense of accomplishment. i made it till the end of the school semester.
when it's bed time, i closed my eyes and still find it hard to believe that i am actually back home.
it's been tough out there and nothing will ever replace the comfort at home.

breathe-logy

so here i am re-enrolling for breathe-logy class again. Something that i missed since this semester started.

i miss the comfort of a home, someone who will take care of you and hold you while you recover.

roach party

i would never forget the night when i felt something quite big crawling on my arm. I thought I was dreaming. I swept it off my left arm and quickly went to switch on the light.

Yes! It was IT! No one else but IT!

There seems to be some kind of 'roach-party' around this place. I dont quite like it when they roamed freely in the house, especially in the room.

I tried spraying Ridsects. Every time I sprayed, the 'harvest' is plentiful and that includes the adults and babies. So far, the best record over the last 6 months is 13, big and small, all at one time.

fellowship with the cikgu-s

i just came home from dinner with a group of young adult teachers. They are from various schools in LD and different hometowns too. Christina, my friend who works as a pharmacist was there with us too.

somehow, tonight's fellowship brings assurance and comfort to me, knowing that I am not alone in all that I was facing in school. The food was great and we laughed throughout the dinner as we share about our experience as a freshie in school.

i thank God for the fellowship and opportunities to meet new friends. it's really a blessing!

of purpose in life

two questions:
1. do you live for yourself?
2.do you live for others?

i have been on mc for two days, had enough of school for now. I need time to recover and regain my strength before going back to the field.

Meditating on this verse:

.. a time to embrace, a time to refrain (Ecc3:5).

hello monday!

this week is going to be a long week.. we have been having classes on saturday and wohoa! this week we have to go to school even on Sunday for training! tough week
what i am doing now is way beyond my expectation. pHotocopy work and other non-teaching related duties is really driving me nuts sometimes..
today will be the first day of my new schedule. I wil be teaching a new class where they placed all the 'hopeless' and 'problematic' students. It's going to be challenging but hey, it's an opportunity to make a difference in someone's life, right. Just last week I came home asking myself, what happened to the drop-outs? Dont they deserve a second chance? What are they going to do with their life if they stop schooling?
challenging time, but hey circumstances will not change the character of God. He was, He is and He will always be a loving Father. march on and run the race! gambate!!
