the start

all of us begin at some place where we know mostly the "dont knows" and have the "dont haves" before we can arrive at a place where we finally know something and have something.

every line starts with a dot

it all begins somewhere..

2010-2011

i feel like i get anxious a lot about lots of things these days. Is it a sign of growing old? Cos they usually say old people worry a lot.

Anyway, these few days I have been pondering... 2010 is going to end in about 2 weeks. Have I achieved what Dad wanted me to do this year? What's in the agenda for 2011?

There is a few big things in life that I am really looking forward to next year. =)

the capital E

I am sitting here, the same place that I sat about one year ago.

The environment and settings did not change much but it felt very different now.

A year ago, I had yet to find out about my posting and yet to find out about the experience being so far from home, in such a place where there are so much of interesting happenings and lack of perfect and proper facilities. I know that I am not alone.

If you asked me one thing that I have learned over the one year, I would say again and again, "the capital E' which stands for ENDURE!

it's not Easy being in an unknown territory. I hated the lack of water, electric supply and internet signals there. I dislike how some tends to take advantage of us, the newbies and excuses such as "single, new, without children" are often used to pressure us to do a lot more than what we can handle. Also,I dislike people who procrastinate on their work which in return give us more headache and lots of troubles to run to the education departments to get things settled after almost a year since the documents were submitted. Some said with the allowance given, we will be able to save more but it is not true. Things are much expensive there.

well, after all life isnt a bed of roses. Nothing comes easy in life and i guess what doesn't kill us will make us stronger ey.

Despite the lack, I have learnt to make do with what I have, to ENDURE, to trust Him at all times and believe that there's light at the end of the tunnel. It's like blessings in disguise. I am thankful for people whom have supported me and prayed with me throughout the journey. Now, I constantly remind myself that to be able to BREATH is already a LUXURY.

I guess I will stop here. it's about time to go for lunch with dear.

moments captured in LD 2010.

all.is.well part 2

Currently at LCCT waiting for sweetheart while blogging and enjoying my double chocs!

It was a short break back at home but it was the most meaningful ones thus far. It was awesome to see how my parents have grown and leap from faith to faith. Mum took the step forward and got baptised recently. PTL! I also had lots of time with dad and bro while learning a bit more about marketing and furniture related stuff while doing the roadshow at The Spring few days ago. It was quite tiring as we have to be there for almost 12 hours, minus the time used for furniture packing and moving on the first and last day. Our body and legs were so sore and drained but somehow, this roadshow brought us back together. I am very grateful for this. I haven't had so much thing to talk about with bro for a long time. PTL!

I am thankful for my fiance's parents too and all thoughts, prayers, love and support that they have showered me. I love the home-cooked soup that aunt made and i miss the home fellowship during their cell time.

Missed coffee and catch up with Eil and friends this time.. Huhu..

i guess that's it for now for moments captured in kch. Sweetheart is on the way. I shall be back soon-ish for more update!

signing off with gratefulness and a smile,
aud
