I am sitting here, the same place that I sat about one year ago.
The environment and settings did not change much but it felt very different now.
A year ago, I had yet to find out about my posting and yet to find out about the experience being so far from home, in such a place where there are so much of interesting happenings and lack of perfect and proper facilities. I know that I am not alone.
If you asked me one thing that I have learned over the one year, I would say again and again, "the capital E' which stands for ENDURE!
it's not Easy being in an unknown territory. I hated the lack of water, electric supply and internet signals there. I dislike how some tends to take advantage of us, the newbies and excuses such as "single, new, without children" are often used to pressure us to do a lot more than what we can handle. Also,I dislike people who procrastinate on their work which in return give us more headache and lots of troubles to run to the education departments to get things settled after almost a year since the documents were submitted. Some said with the allowance given, we will be able to save more but it is not true. Things are much expensive there.
well, after all life isnt a bed of roses. Nothing comes easy in life and i guess what doesn't kill us will make us stronger ey.
Despite the lack, I have learnt to make do with what I have, to ENDURE, to trust Him at all times and believe that there's light at the end of the tunnel. It's like blessings in disguise. I am thankful for people whom have supported me and prayed with me throughout the journey. Now, I constantly remind myself that to be able to BREATH is already a LUXURY.
I guess I will stop here. it's about time to go for lunch with dear.
