... God views us through our future. We view ourselves from our past. We look at our failures and the way we are at this moment. God looks at the way He made us to be. He sees the end result. God accepts us just as we are, but He isnt going to leave us that way. Because He loves us so much, He is going to help us become all He created us to be. If something in us needs to be changed, He changes us as we surrender ourselves to Him...

above all else
I was pondering about things that Father has showed me for the past few weeks. Practicum ended and what's next was probably the biggest question I have now.
I am grateful for how He has been with me and carried me through the past 5 and a half year of my uni life. I miss those time in welly and I am going to miss it here in IPBA too.. btw, we have got new name.. it's called IPGM-KBA! haha.. such a long one but sound very 'keng'!
"close your eyes and let God put a song in your heart." I read this line somewhere and it sparked a little something in my heart.
I really thank God for opening up doors for me to share the songs with friends that never heard them before. Along with that, I shared my testimony of how God set me free and restored my life. I was really encouraged when some of them started to sing along, I was even more amazed when a few shared how some of the words in the lyrics spoke to them and reminded them about something. I was totally blown off by this, Dad. Thanks and praise God.
Not only that, as I shared, I began to remember His faithfulness and His perfect timing for everything in my life. Sometimes it was really difficult but He always surprises me in the end. The key is perseverance.
Then, few days ago, He opened up the privilege for me to meet someone who has experience in worship and song writing. His album is going to be released soon. I heard one of his song when a friend played it in the office. It was awesome. Praise God. I had a few words with him and even by just talking to him about all this passion in song writing and music, my heart was racing for it's really such an encouraging encounter.
I missed the worship central launching this morning. =( I miss my guitar, B.J. ... B.J. looked different the last time I saw it, a heart breaking moment.
Father, as I step out from where I am today, and begin to learn and discover more of You and who You have called me to be, I pray that You'll show me the way and bring me up to the next level of faith in this walk with You. All glory be unto You, amen.

Albert Eistein says "there are perhaps two way you can live your life - one is as though nothing is a miracle, one is as though EVERYTHING is a miracle." which one? the choice is yours!

signing off for now with a big smile for u,

red thread . 21
The story is getting more complicated but it was really interesting. I cant wait to find out what happen to the Kong's family and whether Alex managed to succeed in his plan..
The relationship between Kong and his son, justin is rather a typical one in our society. How would I put it? The parent who give his child the best in education and material stuff.. but when it comes to spending quality time and expressing love verbally, it's hardly or never.
Somehow, when it comes to telling their own children, "they love them, they appreciate them, they are proud of them", it is very scarce these days. Instead, words of criticism was often heard rather than those words.
The poor children often ended up believing they are hopeless and they will never able to do something that will make their parents' proud of them. No matter what they do, even with a good intention is never good enough in their parents eyes. Thus, many children were lead to believe that they are 'useless and hopeless' because the most important person in their life said they are.
I guess it's time for the parents and all of us to realise that everyone is not perfect and they all deserve a loving chance. Hear the cry of today's young people. It is bad enough that they fall, but instead of encouraging them to get back on the foot and learn to take the next step, some chose to criticise and constantly highlight the wrongs instead of forgiving, forgetting the past, looking at the bright side and appreaciate even the mustard size effort that the lil one have put in to stand up again...
all the child needs to hear is, "I am proud of you, my son.... i am proud of you, my sweetheart daughter." they need our support and love
I remember there was this event where my friend's dad actually stood up and shared his experience as a father. He said it was never easy for him and the wife and all other parents. They did not have 'training' before they become parents.
In the series I watched today, George P. told Justin that every parents has flawed...
it's true.
But the bottom line ... It does not cost any cents to tell your children you love them.
FAITH. HOPE. and LOVE. but the greatest thing of all is LOVE.

beautiful sunset...
Practicum officially ended last week. It was a relief and a mixture of sweetness and sadness. I miss the girls and my colleagues. I was still comtemplating whether I should give it a try. Trusting God to provide and lead me to His plans. Been burying myself unto piles of essays on my bed. Lots to check! Students almost wanted to 'kill' me for giving them so many writing tasks. Hehe.. but it was a bundle of joy to see some of them expressing themselves creatively in such way.
"Chill and rest" may be the theme for the next few weeks before starting the hardcore grinding again. I wonder how it will be to really start serving full time. Looking forward for the suprises!
It was good to meet Pastor Mervin yesterday. And chung, pei sing and shawn isaac were wit us too yesterday. It was like a mini beth kuch reunion again. The good old times!
Prayer conference was great. Through it was quite tiring but we had fun and we were blessed with lots of insight! Praise God.
Been having a bit of sinus problem lately. But thank God the doctor said it was not too serious. And guess what? it was SIXTY bucks for the consultation... adehhh...
I guess that's all for now. More recent pictures on my facebook...
Tata!
