red thread . 21

The story is getting more complicated but it was really interesting. I cant wait to find out what happen to the Kong's family and whether Alex managed to succeed in his plan..

The relationship between Kong and his son, justin is rather a typical one in our society. How would I put it? The parent who give his child the best in education and material stuff.. but when it comes to spending quality time and expressing love verbally, it's hardly or never.

Somehow, when it comes to telling their own children, "they love them, they appreciate them, they are proud of them", it is very scarce these days. Instead, words of criticism was often heard rather than those words.

The poor children often ended up believing they are hopeless and they will never able to do something that will make their parents' proud of them. No matter what they do, even with a good intention is never good enough in their parents eyes. Thus, many children were lead to believe that they are 'useless and hopeless' because the most important person in their life said they are.

I guess it's time for the parents and all of us to realise that everyone is not perfect and they all deserve a loving chance. Hear the cry of today's young people. It is bad enough that they fall, but instead of encouraging them to get back on the foot and learn to take the next step, some chose to criticise and constantly highlight the wrongs instead of forgiving, forgetting the past, looking at the bright side and appreaciate even the mustard size effort that the lil one have put in to stand up again...

all the child needs to hear is, "I am proud of you, my son.... i am proud of you, my sweetheart daughter." they need our support and love

I remember there was this event where my friend's dad actually stood up and shared his experience as a father. He said it was never easy for him and the wife and all other parents. They did not have 'training' before they become parents.

In the series I watched today, George P. told Justin that every parents has flawed...

it's true.

But the bottom line ... It does not cost any cents to tell your children you love them.

FAITH. HOPE. and LOVE. but the greatest thing of all is LOVE.
