home

hermit crab - taken by my bro few days ago at Damai beach

Greetings from my beloved hometown, Kuching! Hehe.. Yesh! I am back for 3 weeks break. But one week is gone! sigh. time flies.

I was telling many others how I love the feeling of 'going to the airport to fly home'. Lolz.. I just love 'flying'! this time, thanks to mum that I got to fly on MAS. It was on really cheap promo. But there were barely 20 people flying on the same flight. Huhu..

So it was 1st june, about 6.30pm. The sky was pouring. Angela sent me to KL sentral. (thanks, angel!) I had KFC snack plate and took the KLIA express to KLIA. It was a short 35 mins ride but my mind was filled with snippets of things that happened this semester... and of course many questions about the future, or may be when I reached home. Just dont know what to expect.

I am looking forward to a "break" this time at home. A time to chill out and find my focus again before the next flight back to KL a.k.a.the next level... Yea..say hello to the "pre-working" world, the many chapters of "doing life together", more "stretching" sessions and heaps more. But it's going to be an exciting season I believe!

Practicum starts one week after I touch down at KL. My first official teaching practice. Haha.. really dont know what to expect. But I believe God's there with me and I will make it through somehow. Along with that, I will be on my feet for dance again! Yay!! I was told that I am now part of the praise and worship dance ministry at my church, but on probation. It's by God grace that this is possible. Praise Father... there's a testimony and a lesson for this, hope to share when I have more time to blog.

Apart from that, there are quite a few things to look into... public speaking (my first time in my entire life! Haha.. before this if u mentioned anything about public speaking, I'll have a thousand and one things to say so I wont have to participate. Haha.. but this time I signed up for the sake of experience.)What else? INTEL project. Cant escape. Huhu.. there are so much to prepare but by God's grace, we'll survive!
besides, there are roadtrips, orientation, and heaps more happening for the next couple of months (fingers crossed!) Exciting time! Looking forward to recruit more sheep in the family and to leave a legacy behind before we all move on.

capturing moments

I was sitting here for more than 10 mins, still thinking of what to write. Homecoming has definitely caused a significant shift in my life. Things are familiar yet I find it quite different. May be it's just me that have changed a lot. I find it amazing how the 2 years in NZ have shaped my life and perspective about many things.
I have learned and still learning to appreciate every moment in life. Whether it's good or bad moments, that's part and parcel of life. I guess that what makes life more colourful.
Since I landed, many times when faced with hard things, I often asked why did God send me back here to face all these. Yet in the midst of storms, He often did wonders and surprises me with a lot of things. i praise God for His greatness and faithfulness. I am grateful for the 'angels' that He has sent to encourage me to press on, to pray for me and with me. Not only that, it was an opportunity for me to feel His heartbeat for these people and myself. God loves, that's definite.
Time is short. Just as I began to get a bit adjusted to life here, I realised I have only a few weeks left before tapping into a new dimension. *cringe* I dont know what to expect tho. I pray that as I surrender to You, Father, You'll lead me to where You want me to be. I want the things You want for me.
Dad came home with a mixer today! yeah! Praise God. Gonna start baking for cny.
Looking forward for Christmas, the homecoming, and a memorable dinner. Not sure what's goin to happen but I am sure Father already has a hand in it. He's going to make it awesome.
I have my ballet costume tailor-made. Cost me quite a lot but it seems that now the plan isnt going that well. They have changed the original plan to carolling at a shopping mall and christmas lunch at the restaurant. I am looking forward to it. But I am still wondering where to fit in the performance leh? Anyway, surrending it all to God. Let it be done according to Your will, not mine.
Just got back from bible camp. Learned a lot of things and met a lot of new people. My biggest lesson is to appreaciate water more now as during our stay there, there was a bad lack in the water supply. Guess it's a good time to be away to catch some breath and just be immersed in His presence and testimonies.
We had came session this morning with the mission team from Auckland. Felt so blessed by their sharing. Pastor Alfred prayed for me and really felt the presence of the Holy Spirit "sister, you are CALLED... You are called to carry His message."
Did lots of shopping for cny clothings and shoes. *so there goes a hole in every pockets* but I miss this bit ever since I was away. CNY shopping with mummy is always the best.
Had the most expensive haircut so far in my life. 55 per haircut. It was nice for the first few days but now I feel that it's making me look a bit too mature that I like it to be. Aihs. Girls... haha. Still considering weather I want to have it straighten or permed.
Just baked durian cake for 2nd time. First time was too sweet (according to grandparents and parents) this time, I put less sugar (they said it's nice but I find it better with more sugar). I have sweet-toothe? haha.. may be.
it's 1am now. So i'll continue to update you all next time.
