worship central..

yes..
may be not...
hmm.. yes?
no?

okay.. may be I should.
YES!

and yep.. I ended up at worship central session last night. It was a NO regret. I am glad I went.

Tim Hughes and the team were awesome. It felt as if I was back in Arise again! Gosh, I miss those days of loud and vibrant worship sessions. Some of our friends from Bethany Kuching were here. Delighted to see them again! Miss u all heaps!

Anyway, it has been great. They shared about worship and two essential words that I caught last night were "PASSION" and "COURAGE"... we need both in our life. Amen!

Anyway, yesterday had been a long but not so fruitful day.

What have I been up to after the exams?
Intel course. Something that makes me feel 'crippled' in the inside especially when I have to work with my 'old ye faithful laptop'. Yea.. despite of all the viruses, super lag response and adapter that has 'moodswing', the "peek-a-boo-moments" with my word docs and the systems that "eat" up some of my files without notifying me .etc... it's amazing how tech can spice up our life.

I can imagine some of you screaming back to my ears, "Audddd... get a new lappie, please!"

yes yes! I know I know.. I need some prayers and support to work things out le.. or may be just wait for a bit more time to collect enough resources. Hehe. Yea. May be I have arrived at the stage where most of us feel that we'll be fine taking care of ourselves without making our parents worry about it.. dont really want to burden them more as they have done so much for us all these years..

But God's my strength and provider. Wait on Him, take heart and be strong..

today's devotional speaks about Provision..

you can be sure that God will take care of everything you need, His generosity exceeding even yours in the glory that pours from Jesus. (Phil 4:19- MSG)

that's all for now. =)

Dance with my Father again

one of my favs by Luther Vandross
Back when I was a child
Before life removed all the innocence
My father would lift me high
And dance with my mother and me and then
Spend me around till I fell asleep
Then up the stairs he would carry me
And I knew for sure I was loved
Chorus:
If I could get another chance
Another walk, another dance with him
I'd play a song that would never ever end
How I'd love love love to dance with my father again

*I came home yesterday, feeling exhausted and soreness on my body; yet I am feeling so alive in me. He blew me off again, when I finally realised what He has been doing. Suprise, audie!
It was just Tuesday night when we decided we shall come up with a dance item. I was given the responsibility to lead the dance team. Something that I never expect before, as normally I will just follow what others do.
I went to bed that night, feeling so clueless of what's happening. The performance is next Tuesday at one of the biggest local mall. I was feeling the pressure and really dont know what to do or expect. But my heart desire to see it come through, as a gift for our dear Saviour's birthday.
I couldnt sleep, so I got up and prayed in tongues till I felt the breakthrough. With my eyes shut, I sensed His peace and presence. I remember the sms that a friend sent the other day, "God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalm74"
I woke up on Wednesday morning, there's no new ideas yet but I was definitely more calm and fresh. I told Father that I dont want to go through another motion without Him being in it. Unless Father builds the house and this, we all labour in vain. Truly, not by our might, but by His power and spirit. Let this be an act our worship as our heart desires to see His name be glorified. I prayed for His joy to flow as the team come together with one heart and one spirit. I asked for His provision, wisdom, favor and inspiration. I pray for an extraordinary experience this time.

He reminded me about Miriam in the bible.

And true enough, yesterday was mind-blowing. Nothing that I have expected. Ideas poured out like heavy rain. My family for being so supportive. The girls and I had a good time of fellowship while exploring the dance together. For all the texts and encouragement... I am forever grateful. He's definitely with me in every step. It was just the beginning, but I believe with Father in it, He will bring it to completion, a great one. All glory belongs to Him alone.
