i was talking to aunt ai siang over lunch just now about my school.. then i remembered the day when my heels broke. The same day I had evaluation and things were a bit hectic. ALso, I cant go to class without any shoes, right? It will be so weird.
So i had grace who lent me her shoes and heels for both of my classes. At the end of the day, one of my students approached me and asked "Teacher, why do you wear 3 different pairs of shoes in a day ah?"
(-.-)"
I dont understand how they can notice this but they did. I was surprised!
important lesson for all the girls: Next time when I have my own car, I'll make sure I carry some spare heels with me in it. Heee...

blessing flows
Just a quick one..
Havent felt so much 'rested' for quite a while. It has been an amazing week having to conquer most of my tasks and went home feeling a bit more relax and good.

I guess I was quite 'settled-in' with what I am doing as compared to previous months ago. The new phase of life isnt easy, so much of challenges, responsibilities and such. There were lots of tug-of-wars within and outside, but I have learned to really let go and let God. Life is short, why worry? After all, God has a plan to prosper us, not to harm us. Whether it is good times or bad times, there is always a purpose behind. Always remember that all these are bringing you and I closer to 'becoming me'.. becoming the person that we are called to be. just enjoy the ride with Him.
I am very thankful to Father who has been so good to me, my supervisor and cooperating teachers who are always so patient and supportive. My roomie and dear who're always there to listen and pray with me. Friends and family who are always there for me... Praise God for each and everyone of u.
I had a good weekend. Praise Father!
Swimming and dinner were awesome. Sunday was great. It has been a while since we last gathered together. Good old times in bethany..

a stream of water.. flowing from the throne of Father
it was truly refreshing and assuring...
Blessed are those who are planted by the stream of water (psalm 1: 3)

non-solid food
I was teaching in one of the classes just now. Process writing. I saw the blank face and I heard the dead silence. It got me worried for a moment.
"no solid, lady! no solid food for these girls!" I told myself.
"no solid, lady! no solid food for these girls!" I told myself.
I remember few years back when it's time for something solid, we found ourselves in different states like.. we were happy and satisfied for one moment and the next moment, we felt like we were suffocating and we will not make it through.
Now we are so used to the technical solid food that it does take some kind of effort and time to grind and process them so it could be easily digested by our precious babes.

weeeee!!!
20 minutes and counting...
many students didnt turn up for classes today as it's the final day of school before the break. I am excited about the break. It's a good time to chill and re-gain some strength and focus for the next 5 weeks. I reckon it'll be hectic after this as I have to be on my toes all the time. It's evaluation! (-.0) but with His grace, I believe I will be okay.
havent been feeling too well these few days. Stress, haze, imbalance diet and hot weather... seen doctor twice and thank God that I am recovering. =) there are confirmed cases in school.. so everyone is a bit careful ...
A few of us started wearing mask, ... and it feels funny to wear a mask during teaching and learning sessions in class. I felt like I a dentist who is lost in an English lesson.

capturing-smile
ears caught a gentle knock on the window
head turned towards the source of the sound
eyes caught the blackkie waving
heart melted by that s-m-i-l-e carved on the face
a moment that lasted less than a second, forever captured in this memory
over mee raja, roti hawaii, roti pisang, soft shell crabs, ribena special and heaps more
with two new friends visiting from oz
laughs, catch ups, white coffee, meaningful time
a moment of friendship, an irreplacable joy
7 principles of realities
a text. more than 20 pages in length
who would care to do such a thing
but a treasured friend who sincerely cares
it's thursday.
but seems like a saturday
we took a drive down to KL
ben's place is so cool
lunch calls for mc d
value meals and two great friends
though i was really blur today
but thanks.. for the great company.
nice evening. my current ''roomate'' is out for an award ceremony. proud of her. going down to grab some dinner and perhaps enjoy an evening walk around the neighbourhood. =)
