weeeee!!!

20 minutes and counting...

many students didnt turn up for classes today as it's the final day of school before the break. I am excited about the break. It's a good time to chill and re-gain some strength and focus for the next 5 weeks. I reckon it'll be hectic after this as I have to be on my toes all the time. It's evaluation! (-.0) but with His grace, I believe I will be okay.

havent been feeling too well these few days. Stress, haze, imbalance diet and hot weather... seen doctor twice and thank God that I am recovering. =) there are confirmed cases in school.. so everyone is a bit careful ...

A few of us started wearing mask, ... and it feels funny to wear a mask during teaching and learning sessions in class. I felt like I a dentist who is lost in an English lesson.

capturing-smile

ears caught a gentle knock on the window
head turned towards the source of the sound
eyes caught the blackkie waving
heart melted by that s-m-i-l-e carved on the face
a moment that lasted less than a second, forever captured in this memory

over mee raja, roti hawaii, roti pisang, soft shell crabs, ribena special and heaps more
with two new friends visiting from oz
laughs, catch ups, white coffee, meaningful time
a moment of friendship, an irreplacable joy

7 principles of realities
a text. more than 20 pages in length
who would care to do such a thing
but a treasured friend who sincerely cares

it's thursday.
but seems like a saturday
we took a drive down to KL
ben's place is so cool

lunch calls for mc d
value meals and two great friends
though i was really blur today
but thanks.. for the great company.

nice evening. my current ''roomate'' is out for an award ceremony. proud of her. going down to grab some dinner and perhaps enjoy an evening walk around the neighbourhood. =)

if today were your last day (nickleback)

If Today Was Your Last Day lyrics
Songwriters: Kroeger, Chad;

My best friend gave me the best advice
He said each day's a gift and not a given right
Leave no stone unturned, leave your fears behind
And try to take the path less traveled by
That first step you take is the longest stride

If today was your last day and tomorrow was too late
Could you say goodbye to yesterday?
Would you live each moment like your last
Leave old pictures in the past?
Donate every dime you had, if today was your last day?
What if, what if, if today was your last day?

Against the grain should be a way of life
What's worth the price is always worth the fight
Every second counts 'cause there's no second try
So live like you're never living twice
Don't take the free ride in your own life

If today was your last day and tomorrow was too late
Could you say goodbye to yesterday?
Would you live each moment like your last?
Leave old pictures in the past?
Donate every dime you had?

And would you call those friends you never see?
Reminisce old memories?
Would you forgive your enemies?
And would you find that one you're dreaming of?
Swear up and down to God above
That you'd finally fall in love if today was your last day?

If today was your last day
Would you make your mark by mending a broken heart?
You know it's never too late to shoot for the stars
Regardless of who you are

So do whatever it takes
'Cause you can't rewind a moment in this life
Let nothing stand in your way
'Cause the hands of time are never on your side

If today was your last day and tomorrow was too late
Could you say goodbye to yesterday?
Would you live each moment like your last?
Leave old pictures in the past?
Donate every dime you had?

And would you call those friends you never see?
Reminisce old memories?
Would you forgive your enemies?
And would you find that one you're dreaming of
Swear up and down to God above
That you'd finally fall in love if today was your last day?

overwhelmed..

it's 11.21pm.. almost the end of a Sunday..
time flies.

I am really overwhelmed.. grateful.. touched.
All I could say, He loves me heaps. He knows all I need at that moments. He provided a place, friends that I can share openly and most importantly, I got the chance to listen to words that I needed to hear.

On Bended Knee. Something related to this has been spoken to me over my life since I was in NZ. I remember specifically it was this lady. Amanda is her name. Following this incident, a few things was revealed to me and personally, I saw some of them came to past. Overwhelmed. This time, He sent me the 'fruit' or ''testimony" ... It is really very encouraging. Thanks, Dad.

With such a busy life, it is indeed a hard thing to put aside time for this. For some, it is a waste of time. But what makes it different in the life of these people is once again - obedience. It is also Faith. Sometimes you dont know how far your prayer traveled and if it is answered. it's prayer of faith. Sometimes it could be things that are against what you hope to happen, when it does being revealed to you, you question "why?"... there' re 2 choices - either to press forward with faith or shrink back because of fear. Now I look back, i began to understand better. Thanks, Dad and precious gem!

You dont have to understand what I just wrote.. it's something personal.. Anyway, what have I been up to these 2 days?

On Sat, I woke up about noon time. Then angel and I had Mc D while watching some Bollywood movie on the TV. Didnt get to see the ending cos it was time for church. I had a great time in church. The invited speaker was sharing about discipleship. Hehe.. Met esther, daniel and jon.

Then, we gals decided to drive out of town to meet up with our dear friend. Glad to see him again after so long. We had dinner-supper at a place nearby and had a great catch-up time. mu.

Initially we wanted to paint our nails but we were too tired to stay up. So we slept till noon the next day. Went ss2 for lunch and had a haircut which cost me RM38.00.. The line was long, so I opted for the prof stylist. Anyway, it was great. She was surprised that my curls last that long. Praise God le. Hehe..

Then we went to tropicana mall. Wanted to check out the flee market but there's none. Huhu.. So we drove to MId V, but stopped at Jaya One on the way cos we saw the flee market. We went to Mid V, spent like 4 hours there and bought quite a lot of things. Had great sharing time over dinner. it's really a divine appointment... overwhelmed.

That's about it for today. Again.. Praise God! =)

I searched for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, so that I would not destroy it; but I found no one. Ezekiel 22:30

home - KL

home-bound..
touch down yesterday at about 4pm in IPBA
exhausted and the weather wasnt very nice too
dinner with yien rong and went to cg.
spent a night at angel's place. Feel so nice to be at a 'home' environment and a place where I can rest and recover.
We had really great catch up till about 4am.. kesian she has to go to work the next day. But I love it.. just by listening and sharing what we had been through and been up to in life was refreshing. At one point tears was rolling down my cheeks.. touched by the goodness and faithfulness of God in our life.

Yes!.. I thank and praise Father. Though sometimes we may not understand why things happen... and we do not have all the answers to all the questions... we know that He's in control and He is watching over all of us. Thanks, Dad!

home

hermit crab - taken by my bro few days ago at Damai beach

Greetings from my beloved hometown, Kuching! Hehe.. Yesh! I am back for 3 weeks break. But one week is gone! sigh. time flies.

I was telling many others how I love the feeling of 'going to the airport to fly home'. Lolz.. I just love 'flying'! this time, thanks to mum that I got to fly on MAS. It was on really cheap promo. But there were barely 20 people flying on the same flight. Huhu..

So it was 1st june, about 6.30pm. The sky was pouring. Angela sent me to KL sentral. (thanks, angel!) I had KFC snack plate and took the KLIA express to KLIA. It was a short 35 mins ride but my mind was filled with snippets of things that happened this semester... and of course many questions about the future, or may be when I reached home. Just dont know what to expect.

I am looking forward to a "break" this time at home. A time to chill out and find my focus again before the next flight back to KL a.k.a.the next level... Yea..say hello to the "pre-working" world, the many chapters of "doing life together", more "stretching" sessions and heaps more. But it's going to be an exciting season I believe!

Practicum starts one week after I touch down at KL. My first official teaching practice. Haha.. really dont know what to expect. But I believe God's there with me and I will make it through somehow. Along with that, I will be on my feet for dance again! Yay!! I was told that I am now part of the praise and worship dance ministry at my church, but on probation. It's by God grace that this is possible. Praise Father... there's a testimony and a lesson for this, hope to share when I have more time to blog.

Apart from that, there are quite a few things to look into... public speaking (my first time in my entire life! Haha.. before this if u mentioned anything about public speaking, I'll have a thousand and one things to say so I wont have to participate. Haha.. but this time I signed up for the sake of experience.)What else? INTEL project. Cant escape. Huhu.. there are so much to prepare but by God's grace, we'll survive!
besides, there are roadtrips, orientation, and heaps more happening for the next couple of months (fingers crossed!) Exciting time! Looking forward to recruit more sheep in the family and to leave a legacy behind before we all move on.
